In 1994, Dr Hans Lautenschläger and his team of research experts created a bespoke skincare range designed to treat individual skin types and conditions, setting the products apart from the conventional blanket-approach skincare solutions of the day.

Our Founders
Meet the team
Derma Aesthetics Pty Ltd was established under the leadership of co-founders Simone Vescio and Reika Roberts in 2010 upon their identification of noticeable gaps in conventional beauty applications and education standards throughout Australasia.
Simone Vescio’s mission as Visionary & Co-Founder of derma aesthetics has always been to identify opportunities to change people’s lives, not just their skin. Harnessing the power of dermaviduals along with her in-depth understanding of chemistry, skin anatomy & physiology, Simone has been able to successfully achieve her core purpose becoming an authoritative educator in the aesthetics industry. Simone says “your skin matters and so does what you choose to apply to it. I only hope that when looking into your preferred choice of skincare you choose to care for your skin with the best chemistry possible for long term, sustainable results.”
With a background in human resources and accounting and over 20 years in the cosmetics industry, Reika Robert’s vision is to support and encourage a vibrant and sustainable beauty industry. She champions personal development across the industry and as a result, her own business has a creative, diverse and vibrant team of experts who are knowledgeable; bringing products to the marketplace that are world renowned, efficacious and results driven. Reika is passionate about driving sustainability and providing a sense of purpose for her team, clients and the industry as a whole. She is currently Chair of the Industry Association ABIC.
